"jsc energo-pro georgia has been preparing for the upcoming elections for several months. in connection with this, the first meeting of the representatives of the company and cec was held in may 2023. jsc "energo-pro georgia" closely cooperates with the commission. the company will provide a stable supply of electricity to polling stations as much as possible. however, in case of damage to the energy network caused by bad weather or other reasons, the company's technical teams will be ready for an immediate response," - said grigol mamiseishvili. according to him, it is important that in the buildings where the polling stations will be located, the internal network should be in order, isolated and the persons responsible for the electrical wiring should be present on the spot. at the meeting, it was agreed that cec will provide the company with the exact addresses of the polling stations and all other necessary data and information that will contribute to the smooth power supply of the polling stations, while the company, within its competence, will try its best to make the election process go smoothly in terms of power supply. "of course, it has always been important for us to finish the election process without delay, as we can see, the network company started preparations 18 months before the elections, which confirms the importance of the issue for us, especially when for the first time, elections in all stations will be held through the application of electronic technologies. in general, an emergency disconnection in the network is never excluded, however, the volume and frequency of accidents in the energo-pro georgia network is a matter of separate discussion, and we are ready to talk about it more openly, because here the company's responsibility is minimal. despite many problems, we are confident that we will successfully overcome this challenge, and in addition apart from our great responsibility, it will be a clear answer to various insinuations." - said mikheil botsvadze, chairman of the board of directors of jsc energo-pro georgia holding.

epg starts new employment project. tomorrow, on april 17 memorandum of cooperation will be concluded among jsc energo-pro georgia, ministry of education and science, education quality increase national center and up to 15 professional educational facilities which implement the program. the signing ceremony will be held at the ministry of education and sciences. memorandum will be signed by general director of epg nikoaly nikolov, deputy minister kate natriashvili, elene jibladze from the side of the center and directors of professional educational facilities. according to the company decision and pursuant to the memorandum all the students who will satisfy the competition requirements and be enrolled into the professional study facilities for the specialization of electrician, welder and other related fields, will receive gel 150-200 stipends from the company during the study period. at the final stage of the learning students will be given opportunity to undertake 1-3 months internship at the company with future employment perspective. “starting from the grant announcement until now we have already received 51 applications. process of application receipt continues. the goal of the project is to support and increase motivation of young generation in georgian regions to receive professional education. mentioned project will assist the popularization of the field as well. apart from that students will be given an opportunity to get employed at the company in future and promote their career growth. major emphasis will be made on the students residing in high mountainous regions” – said director general of epg nikolay nikolov.persons willing to receive the stipend must refer to the company with an application before april 27 (hq or regional offices), or fill in the application form at company web page. after the application selection there will be an interview with successful candidates who in case of enrollment into the professional study facility will receive the stipend. competition requirements are as follow: the candidate must be no more than 35 years old, citizen of georgia, possess secondary education at least and speak english or russian at the beginner level at least. orphanages will also enroll in the mentioned project along with epg. hrd of the company plans to meet with the managers of orphanages. the goal of the meeting will be create opportunity and give motivation to foster children of the orphanages who start independent life to take exams at professional facilities. the company will pay the students the stipend and provide opportunity for their future employment.

individual re-metering completed in 363 more villages. through the past 8 months epg installed european standard individual meters to 58 619 customers. investment amount for the project is gel 14 654 750. „individual re-metering continues actively, as individual re-metering project is one of the priority projects for our company. our technical team tries its best to provide works efficiently, which helps us to facilitate high quality service for our customers” – said head of public relations division of the company avto dvalishvili. along with re-metering company conducts electricity grid rehabilitation activities, which implies electricity grid rehabilitation; according to company investment plan investments will continue in the field of rehabilitation and re-metering. 2014-2015 up to 75 mln gel will be invested. individual re-metering will be completed throughout the company service area in 2015.

energo-pro a.s., mother company of jsc energo-pro georgia holding, has successfully priced eur 300 mln unsubordinated and unsecured notes for the fourth time. this emission is guaranteed for the first time by the leading american financial institution, the us development finance corporation (dfc). it is also the first time when dfc has guaranteed such a transaction in europe. the term of the notes is 12 years and it will be fully covered on july 27, 2035. the annual fixed rate of the notes is 4.3%.   the notes’ expected rating from moody's is aa1/stable. goldman sachs bank europe se acted as sole international coordinator and sole bookrunner of the transaction.   dfc is a us government development finance organization, its commitments are supported by the full confidence and trust of the us government. the mentioned guarantee is accepted as part of dfc's activities to support energy and energy-related investments in european and asian countries, in accordance with the european energy security and diversification act.   executive director of energo-pro group, petr milev, said about the mentioned transaction: "this is a truly fundamentally important and transformative transaction for energo-pro, which enabled us to achieve strong financing at a highly attractive price during period of the volatility at international capital market. we are honored to be trusted by such a recognized partner as dfc and look forward to working with them to improve our assets and the environmental and social aspects of our business.   energo-pro group has completed attracting of long-term financing under favorable terms. west central branch employee of jsc energo-pro georgia givi margvelashvili became world champion in power lifting. he broke three world records – in powerlifting he lifted 140 kg, in deadlift 220 kg, which no light weight (65 kg) athlete could lift before. apart from that third record of givi margvelashvili is the sum of his scores which amounted 570 points. world championship took place in kiev on november 7-9, 2014. 34 countries, including georgia, participated in the championship. major counterpart of margvelashvili was athlete from russian federation; however, margvelashvili excelled him by 70 kg. givi margvelashvili has trained for months to take part in the championship. being power engineer by specialization, givi margvelashvili showed his interest in power lifting since childhood, however went professional since 2010. he trained at kutaisi 35th public school training hall under the supervision of his trainer konstantine janashia. in may 2014 givi margvelashvili became champion of europe for the first time. at present givi margvelashvili woks at west central branch of jsc energo-pro georgia at imereti high voltage substations division as i category person-on-duty.

at today gnerc meeting, commission made decision on fining the company within amount of 75000 gel. it is stated in “energo-pro georgia” that, decision is not right and is unacceptable, accordingly it will be appealed in the court.     “we are sure that the court will discuss the dispute objectively and will make fair decision, imposed fine will be annulled”,  – is said in jsc “energo-pro georgia”.

today epg concluded agreement with 5 students of professional study facilities. during the 10 months study period company will pay the students gel 150 tuition. after the graduation students will undertake 1 month internship at the company and will be employed afterwards. agreement between epg and students was concluded at kutaisi professional study facility “iberia”. students were chosen from kutaisi, ozurgeti and kobuleti professional facilities “iberia”, “horison” and “new wave”.   in frame of the project of the employment of the students from the professional study facilities, epg has already concluded agreement with 12 students. student employment project will continue and in its second stage, which will be held presumably in autumn of the ongoing year epg plans to enroll 12 more students. “the goal of the project is to support and increase motivation of young generation in georgian regions to receive professional education. mentioned project will assist the populatization of the field as well. apart from that students will be given an opportunity to get employed at the company in future and promote their career growth. major emphasis will be made on the students residing in high mountainous regions” – said director general of epg nikolay nikolov.

jsc energo-pro georgia completed hv network rehabilitation in daba gudauri. as a result of rehabilitation grid infrastructure has been improved significantly, which fosters stable and secure electricity supply of daba gudauri resort on winter touristic season. jsc energo-pro georgia invested gel 20 000 for the implementation of the mentioned project. rehabilitation activities started in september of the ongoing year and continued for two weeks. in frame of rehabilitation activities new hv poles have been installed, transformer points have been rehabilitated where modern standard protections have been installed; as for the liquidation of the emergency break downs and timely conduct of relevant switches 2 hv breakers were installed. during the process of the rehabilitation company technical brigade and corresponding heavy technique were completely mobilized. jsc energo-pro georgia serves up to 2000 customers in daba gudauri. during the rehabilitation activities electricity supply of company customers was carried out through alternative sources; therefore the supply of the mentioned region was stable.
