"energo-pro georgia" started cooperating with cec on the mentioned issues back in may 2023. after that, several business meetings were held with the chairman of the commission and the members of the commission, where they discussed in detail the issues of stable energy supply of polling stations on the day of the parliamentary elections of georgia.

additional technical groups of “energo-pro georgia” from different regions of georgia  (kakheti, mtskheta-mtianeti, kvemo kartli, shida kartli, samtskhe-javakheti, imereti and samegrelo) have been working in an emergency mode for several days in guria and adjara. due to heavy snowfall on the roads, special equipment has difficulty moving and in most cases, electricians have to reach the damaged areas on foot, however, they are trying to carry out rehabilitation works as soon as possible. currently, electricity is being supplied to some villages of guria and some villages of kobuleti municipality with suspensions. electricity is being supplied steadily to regional centers and vital facilities. electricians who have arrived in guria and adjara from almost all over georgia are currently working in a special emergency regime and will continue to do so until the power supply is fully restored.

energo-pro georgia is supplying electricity with suspensions to 8% of customers in western georgia. the situation is particularly difficult in guria. energo-pro georgia managed to mobilize additional technical brigades from almost all of georgia in guria and adjara in a short time after the weather deteriorated.electricians are still in the mentioned places. however, due to heavy snowfall, the movement of equipment on the roads is complicated. as a result, it is difficult to reach the damaged areas. electricians have to approach the damaged energy infrastructure on foot and carry out restoration work, and in some cases, even moving on foot is difficult. at the moment, electricity is being supplied with suspensions to approximately 8% of customers in western georgia. the situation is particularly difficult in guria, where electricity supply is being suspended to approximately 28% of the customers (16,000 subscribers). at the moment, the disaster is also affecting imereti, especially the vani municipality. energo-pro georgia’s technical service is working in a special mode here as well,” the company reports in a statement.
