On the day of the parliamentary elections of Georgia, the technical service of "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" will work in an emergency regime. Specially appointed duty brigades will work 24 hours a day in all municipalities. Special equipment will also be mobilized. The list of responsible persons on duty of the company has already been sent to the central election commission. CEC representative will have direct contact with the chief dispatcher of the company. "The company ensures electricity supply of the polling stations as much as possible, however, in case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, if the electricity supply to the polling station is interrupted, the verification and vote counting machines will be able to work without interruption for several hours without a power source, therefore the election process will not be interrupted. Nevertheless, the company is ready for quick and timely response" - said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia", Grigol Mamiseishvili. According to him, the company will make every effort within its competence to make the election process painless in terms of energy supply, however, it is important that in the buildings where the polling stations will be located, the internal electricity network should be in order and the persons responsible for the electrical wiring should be present. "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" started cooperating with CEC on the mentioned issues back in May 2023. After that, several business meetings were held with the chairman of the commission and the members of the commission, where they discussed in detail the issues of stable energy supply of polling stations on the day of the parliamentary elections of Georgia.
