The Representatives of the USAID contractor company working on gender balance issues visited JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia". They assist companies in make occupations traditionally considered for male personnel more attractive to women. The energy company has been actively engaged in this project for years.
Guests arrived in Poti and met Valanetina Zibzibadze, who at a time was technician-electrician of "ENERGO-PRO Georgia". Valentina was recently promoted to the position of District Manager.
"It was interesting for me to get to know Valentina and her work. The technical and practical work carried out by ENERGO-PRO Georgia for the professional development of women is important. We have worked with the company for a year and a half and now we can already see the results of this work. We wish success to the company, because issues of gender equality are very important," - said USAID contraced expert Musama Clara.
Representatives of the USAID contractor company also visited Batumi, where they met ten female employees of ENERGO-PRO Georgia, who work in the field of energy.
"During two days, we had very interesting conversations with the talented women employed at ENERGO-PRO Georgia. The company has been our partner since 2015 and together we have achieved a lot in terms of gender equality. We are proud to partner with this team," - said Jasmine Boehm, USAID's contracted expert.
The representatives of USAID's contractor company say that the work that JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" carries out in terms of gender equality is very important.
