The representatives of the Central Election Commission held an information meeting for the employees of "Energo-Pro Georgia". The presentation was about the holding of Georgian parliamentary elections using electronic technologies.
The purpose of the presentation was to provide JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" employees with detailed information related to the electoral reform, so that the company's employees, as voters, were as informed as possible about the mentioned novelty.
Within the framework of the meeting, a demonstration and functional explanation of election machines was carried out on the spot. Also, a voting simulation was conducted, which included direct participation of the audience in the voting procedure and the publication of the preliminary results of the simulated elections.
"JSC ENERGO-PRO Georgia has been preparing for the upcoming elections for several months. In connection with this, the first meeting of the representatives of the company and CEC was held in May 2023. JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" closely cooperates with the Commission. The company will ensure a stable supply of electricity to election precincts as much as possible. However, in case of damage to the energy network caused by bad weather or other reasons, the company's technical teams will be ready for an immediate response" - said Grigol Mamiseishvili, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia".
